CSC Grameen eStore is a revolutionary e-commerce enterprise that reaches world-class products to rural areas of India. With more than 4 lakh CSC Grameen eStores, we have disrupted the distribution of goods in India, serving markets that traditional networks have not been able to reach.
We started as an endeavor to serve the community during the pandemic and have now grown into a flourishing Grameen eCommerce revolution. Our distribution network works through individuals living in villages, trained by us to be Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs), each of whom receives support to set up at least one CSC Grameen eStore in their village. At the organizational level, we partner with Indian and global manufacturers and distributors of products spanning a wide range from food products, apparel, consumer electronics, automobiles, etc. and manage the logistics to reach these products to rural customers.
A typical CSC Grameen eStore is a retail outlet focused on serving one rural area, which is also an online store, with a mobile app interface available to customers to order products online. One eStore is set up by one Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE). One VLE can set up more than on eStore, wherein each serves a different rural area.
